The ceramic technology also prevents the curling iron from sticking to hair and even promotes silky, shiny hair.

For quick styling, the Satin Finish instantly heats up 60 seconds after powering up and offers 30 different heat settings on its adjustable dial to accommodate all hair types. To create consistently perfect curls, the curling iron employs a feature called the Uniform Heat Recovery System. This system transfers heat from the barrel to hair during curling, causing the barrel to cool down slightly, and then resumes its former temperature before you curl the next section of hair.

The 1-1/2-inch barrel on this curling iron is a larger size that can curl hair under, flip ends up, or create wide, loose curls. I purchased the Infiniti 1-1/4 Inch by Conair MI29R Ceramic Hair Curling Iron. After nearly 3 months of use, the curler quit heating completely. By this time, all the packaging material has been discarded and your return policies seem confusing and difficult... no easy returns on something over 30 days!

This curling iron is one of the best on the market for its price. For only $20, you get great, shiny, soft, and curly hair that lasts for hours, even without using expensive holding hairsprays or sticky gels. My hair is naturally curly and I have split ends, so it isn't very easy to keep all of the hair in the clamp. However, this iron keeps all the hair in without pulling the roots painfully. It also gives my hair nice volume. Another nice thing is that the curls you get from this stay in for a long time. You only really need hairspray if you want to keep the style for more than five hours or so. The product itself is amazing as well. It's one of the best designed curlers I've ever used. Many people have complained on reviews about how the on and off buttons and heating dial are located where they are easily pushed while styling but I have not had a problem with it. It heats up quickly and has a wide variety of heat settings. It's also easy to set down on a countertop because of the small notch placed in the middle. If you aren't comfortable setting it down while it's hot, you can use the extremely convenient heat shield, which can also be used when the iron is heating up or cooling down. Other nice things about the iron are the large, round cool tip, easy-to-clean barrel, and swivel cord. This is the first curling iron I have ever owned, but even after trying out the expensive ones that my friends have, I still think that the Conair Satin Finish is the best. Overall, it's a must-have curling iron. Sure, you can spend hundreds of dollars on a CHI or something more fancy, but this will give you all you need and more for only $20. Don't hesitate to buy it. I've purchased a number of curling irons over the years, at various prices. The Conair Satin Finish 1-Inch Ceramic Curling Iron is a tremendous bargain. The ceramic finish allows me to put some strategic curl in my hair after blowing dry, without having my hair be damaged by sticking to the surface and overheating. The clamp holds securely enough to work on thin sections without slipping. This iron offers great convenience of use, safety features, and even imparts a wonderful shine to your hair. You can pay more for an iron, but it will be hard to match all these features at this great price, and I will definitely buy a second one in a different size.
