Customer Reviews Tonya Said: Great Soft Curlers! ( Nov. 2nd 2009 )I had recently gotten a perm for my shoulder length hair and it was not as curly as I'd hoped it would be. Yes, down here in the South, we STILL love big hair, so I ordered these soft curlers to sleep in, thinking I would get the curls I wanted--AND HONEY, WAS I RIGHT!! I rolled my almost dry hair, putting a curl cream (Avon) on the ends, slept on them comfortably overnight, and got up the next morning with the most beautiful blonde curly afro you've ever seen! Everyone at work thought I'd cut my hair and said that it was gorgeous! The curlers were easy to manage, and with the curl cream, the ends were easy to roll onto the bamboo fabric. Just roll the hair to the scalp and bend the ends over into knots--they held all night. I knew that I had a lot of hair, so I ordered two sets and used all of them. After two days, my curls did not fall out--in fact they had to be washed out! The only downfall is that with a lot of use, the wires try to poke through the ends of the fabic (because the little caps come off the ends of the wires on the inside). But you can feel them and put them back on..other than that, great curlers. AND I LOOK FABULOUS!!! Thanks Conair!C. Estelle Said: Great! ( Oct. 27th 2009 )Soft bendy and wonderful to sleep in, and then I wake up with bouncy curls that last. I love the natural aspect of bamboo eco-friendly curlersCHmom Said: Easy, soft and comfortable with beautiful results ( Oct. 27th 2009 )I bought these for my daughter to prevent heat damage to her hair and so I wouldn't risk burning her with a regular curling iron. Putting them in is easy- I just make sure her hair is damp and start rolling in sections. A little gel or mousse before rolling and spraying with some hairspray after the hair is dry helps keep the curl longer. I bought two packages because one package wasn't enough depending on how tight or loose you want the curls. After several uses, I have discovered that the wire inside the covering (which is nothing more than a pipe cleaner with some sponge over it) pokes through the covering. Not a big deal, but I can see that over time this might cause the covering to fall apart. Overall, I'm very happy with the product.G. Lilly Said: Great comfortable Curlers ( Oct. 23rd 2009 )The Bamboo Curlers are easy to use. I like how they are compact flexible and firm at the same time. I order 2 sets for my shoulder length thick hair. I am african american with a perm.Trey T Said: Wonderful ( Oct. 6th 2009 )I had already tried the Avon Soft Curlers and did not like them at all. I have long, fine, delicate hair and the Avon ones got very tangled in my hair and made the curls much to frizzy. The Conair Bamboo Cloth Curlers are just wonderful! You can sleep very comfortably with these curlers. My curls are tigh in the morning, but by the time I get to work, they look great, somewhat 1940's Hollywood Style. No need for any setting gels either. I set my hair dry. I am very pleased with this product. If you want a new look, try them...I doubt you'll be disappointed.« Back |
